Payment & Financing Policies

At Home Luxury USA, we are committed to offering secure, flexible, and transparent payment options to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. This policy outlines the payment methods we accept, the financing options available, and the steps we take to ensure your financial security. Payments are processed securely, and no payment information is stored on our servers. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars (USD).


2. Payment Processing

2.1 Immediate Charges

All payments are charged immediately upon order confirmation. Once payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with the order details.

2.2 Payment Failure

If your payment is unsuccessful, you will be notified immediately, and the order will not be processed. Should any issues arise with your payment, please contact our customer service team at support@homeluxuryusa.com for assistance.

2.3 Limitation of Liability for Payment Processing

Home Luxury USA uses third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, etc.) to handle transactions. We are not responsible for delays or errors in processing caused by these providers. Any issues with payment processing should be directed to the respective payment processor.


3. Currency and International Transactions

3.1 Currency

All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars (USD). For Canadian customers, we are working to allow transactions in Canadian dollars (CAD) to simplify the purchasing process. Until then, any currency conversion fees or charges imposed by your financial institution are your responsibility.

3.2 Foreign Transaction Fees

For transactions conducted outside the United States, your bank or financial institution may apply additional foreign transaction fees or currency conversion fees. Home Luxury USA is not responsible for these fees, and any disputes regarding them must be resolved directly with your financial institution.


4. Financing Options

We offer flexible financing options to accommodate your purchase needs. Financing is available through:

4.1 Klarna

Klarna offers financing with flexible payment terms, subject to eligibility and credit approval. By selecting Klarna, you agree to the terms and conditions of Klarna. Any issues arising from late payments, defaults, or disputes with Klarna should be resolved directly with them.

4.2 Shop Pay Installments

Shop Pay Installments allows you to split your purchase into interest-free installments. No hidden fees or additional charges apply. By choosing Shop Pay, you agree to the terms and conditions of Shop Pay Installments.

4.3 PayPal Financing

Financing is available for qualifying purchases through PayPal. Customers choosing this option must comply with PayPal’s financing terms and are responsible for resolving any disputes directly with PayPal.

4.4 Late Payment and Default

For financing options, Home Luxury USA is not responsible for late payments or defaults on any financing agreements. Any penalties or fees related to financing agreements will be handled directly by Klarna, PayPal, or Shop Pay, and customers must resolve issues with those providers.


5. Fraud Detection and Prevention

5.1 Fraud Monitoring

We use Shopify’s built-in fraud detection system to monitor transactions for suspicious activity. This system automatically flags high-risk orders for further review.

5.2 Identity Verification

In some cases, we may request additional identity verification if a transaction is flagged as suspicious. Failure to provide the requested verification may result in order cancellation.

5.3 Fraudulent Orders

Home Luxury USA reserves the right to cancel or suspend any order flagged as high-risk by our fraud detection systems. If your order is flagged, we may request additional verification before processing. We are not obligated to fulfill any order until the customer’s identity is verified to our satisfaction.


6. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

6.1 Chargeback Process

In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, Home Luxury USA will work directly with your financial institution to resolve the issue. We encourage customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback to allow us the opportunity to resolve the issue.

6.2 Fraudulent Chargebacks

Fraudulent chargebacks are taken seriously and will result in an immediate ban from future purchases. We reserve the right to take legal action to recover any losses associated with fraudulent chargebacks.


7. Refunds and Processing Fees

7.1 Refund Process

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 10-15 days of receiving the returned item and after the item has been inspected. If the product is returned in unsatisfactory condition, Home Luxury USA reserves the right to deny a refund.

7.2 Restocking Fees and Shipping Charges

For returns due to buyer’s remorse, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. In addition, round-trip shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

7.3 Order Cancellations

If an order is canceled before the item has shipped, a full refund will be issued with no restocking or processing fees. Once an item has shipped, the return and refund policy applies.

7.4 Condition of Returned Items

Items returned with signs of use, wear, or damage may be subject to a reduced refund amount or may not be eligible for a refund. Refunds are only processed for items returned in their original condition and packaging.


8. Compliance with Tax Laws

Home Luxury USA complies with all applicable local, state, and federal tax laws. Sales tax is applied where required based on the customer’s shipping destination.

8.1 International Customers

International customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with their respective country’s tax laws, including reporting and paying any applicable import duties, taxes, or fees.
